Black Panther & Afrofuturism

Overview
Write a paper in which you discuss the movie Black Panther in terms of Afrofuturism and the film’s social significance. The writing process for this paper begins with the readings below. Then, of course you should watch the film. When you write the paper, your first section probably should be about Black Panther, the comic book character and the film. The next section likely would address Afrofuturism, explaining what it is and giving some examples of it. Then a final section should talk about how Black Panther, the movie, is Afrofuturist. Note, I’ve been writing “section” and not “paragraph”; a section can have more than one paragraph. When you write this paper, use at least three of the readings assigned below; all other sources you use should be good ones.
