In your paper, include:

Description of the specific forensic science technique and its scientific basis;

The strengths and limitations of the forensic science technique that can be used to assist or argue against the admission of such evidence in court; and

Recommendations as to how to improve the forensic science technique to prevent future miscarriages of justice.

Your paper must include at least 10 scholarly sources (not including the required text or any other required course readings)—Wikipedia and newspaper articles are not considered scholarly sources.

Criteria & Marking:
Formatting requirements for paper (points will be deducted for unfulfilled requirements):

Paper must be 2,000 words

Paper must be double-spaced, 12-point font (Times New Roman)

Margins must be 1.25” or less

Include a cover sheet with: the course title, convenor’s name, tutor’s name (if applicable), paper title, your name, student number, date, word counts with and without references.

Papers must have full and proper citations in APA format.

Papers must include a complete references page on a separate page at the end of the document.
