Prompt for TED Talk. Discuss one (or more) TED talk as it relates to your ideas from Essay 1. For instance,
how does the speaker’s information, stories, or examples compare or contrast with those of Gladwell and Rose? Perhaps most importantly, how does the TED talk relate to your own experiences with learning—those you discussed in Essay 1, but also any you haven’t yet mentioned? As you discuss the TED talk and Essay 1, relate your
response, at some point, to at least one quote from Nietzsche’s “On Truth and Lie.” How you choose to do this is entirely up to you!
Tip on how to start the essay: Begin your introduction by recounting what you wrote in Essay 1, perhaps reflecting on what you thought then as it compares with what you’re thinking now; then, present the topic of the TED talk and use it to deliver your new thesis statement at the end of the introduction paragraph.
