In this assignment, you must use the ICL cafe as your business entity and develop business planning including a strategic plan and an implementation plan. In addition, you are required to use analytical and problem-solving skills, professional practices and affective skills to identify issues or challenges and to propose possible solutions in your business planning. You are also required to engage stakeholders for efficient and effective contribution to business planning. The business plan should be 3000 words (+/-10%), excluding references, charts, templates, forms or diagrams and address the requirements listed below.
The research report must address the following requirements:
- Strategic plan and implementation plan are planned and implemented. [LO1(d)]
1 Based on your research and analysis, develop astrategic plan for ICL’s Café. You are required to include values, vision, objectives, strategies, goals, tactics, and key performance indicators in your strategic plan. You may use some information such as values, vision, objectives and goals from your assignment one. However, you must rewrite the above information to develop a strategic plan in this assignment. In addition, you must address the what and why of activities in your strategic plan. (23 marks)
1.2 Based on your research and analysis, develop an implementation plan for ICL’s Café. You are required to include timing, milestones, resources, and provision for contingencies. You must address the who, where, when, and howof activities in your implementation plan. You must writea reflective journal to show your own and others’ learning in new knowledge, skills, and tools during contribution to business planning. - Engage stakeholders for efficient and effective contribution to business planning. Based on your research and analysis, develop and present an evidence information (including business plan, strategic plan, and implementation plan) of written and oral communication to stakeholdersincluding employees and staff. You must submit one-page summary of the research regarding a business plan, a strategic plan, and an implementation plan to relevant stakeholders including ICL’s café employees and team members. You are also required to prepare PowerPoint presentation slide (minimum five pages) and present to ICL’s café employees and team members. The presentation date and time will be announced by lecturer. - Based on your research and analysis, identify and justify at least one issue or challenge related to collaborative and teamwork challengeduring business planning. In addition, you need to apply negotiation and positive influencing skills and explain how you use these skills to propose solution to resolve issue or challenge in business planning. [LO3(b)]

Writing competency based on the level of understanding of language including correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar
Presentation style and quality including cover page, introduction, main body, conclusion, and referencing with appropriate use of page headings, sub headings, and page numbers.

The use of correct APA referencing and the literature is relevant.
Notes:
- As this is an academic report, you must use analytical skills and provide appropriate references to support your ideas. Failure to do so will result in a reduction of marks for each marking criterion where this is not performed.
- Check your spelling and grammar before submitting.
- As per ICL Assessment Policy, to achieve a passing grade, students must submit all assessment tasks, and an overall mark of 50% or more must be obtained from the combined two formal assessments.
- You are require to include principles of the Treaty of Waitangi in your assignment. For example, you may include principles of the Treaty of Waitangi in your strategic plan (e.g., values, vision, and mission).
- ‘Te Tiriti o Waitangi’ refers to the Maori language text of ‘Treaty of Waitangi’. The ‘Treaty’ refers to both the Māori and English language texts considered as a whole. Where relevant, assessments should reflect learners understanding of cultural context and the Treaty.
