Discuss the dangers of false judgement
Human beings make decisions based on the assessment of a situation. However, when such evaluation is false, it follows that the decision made can be counterproductive or produce misleading results. In essence, the choices people make on a daily basis are based on how the situation is judged (Deigh, 2013). False judgment poses a problem by leading to the inaccurate analysis of a situation and this affects decisions made.
We meet situations that require us to make choices. Naturally, human beings are inclined to make choices that lead to positive outcomes. For instance, when we wake up in the morning, we decide to go to work so that we can earn a living and meet our needs. False judgment can lead to adverse outcomes which might affect the quality of life one leads. False judgement also introduces bias. In the presence of bias, we cannot adequately distinguish between wrong and right (Deigh, 2013). For instance, vices like racism and gender discrimination are promoted by the false judgment of what it means to be human. The moment an individual has the incorrect perception that there are individual races that are better than others, bias is introduced. Such an individual will naturally have the notion that treating some people as better than others is right. False judgment is dangerous. A criminal assumes that they can achieve good things in life by engaging in criminal acts. This twisted form of view can affect the quality of life of an individual.
