Messiaen’s techniques skills and methods of performance —-Harmony 

1.A 1000-word reflective commentary how techniques of performance have impacted the student’s own approach to performance.

2.I have a section of the lecture recital exam and the reflective commentary, but I don’t need the same content.

The lecture recital topic is “The colour of musical harmony in Olivier Messiaen”, a brief overview of Messiaen some of The background, using his religious beliefs to introduce his music, mainly focused on his use of color to describe his harmony.

3.My reflectIve commentary need to use the attachment scores ( X and XV or others). It doesn’t have to be long, just a few bars.

4.First, introduce some of Messiaen’s harmony structure and then I want talk about some content such as Messiaen because there are a pair of big hands, his harmony is very difficult to let a person to play, there is a big challenge to me, I need to break down to play him or use some other ways to play, for example, there are some left hand can not play the sound to the right hand to play, then can find out a scores in the following.
