ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE ANSWERED & PLEASE SHOW ALL YOUR CALCULATIONS
Question 1
Elena, the owner of a Flower Shop, realised the importance of analysing the store’s product sales using statistical analysis while studying Business in college. She has collected some data but is finding it difficult to analyse it. So she has decided to hire you as her consultant.

d) Inter-quartile range (5 marks).
Question 2
A consumer organisation is conducting a test on the six leading brands. It is difficult to measure skin irritation accurately but recent research work has produced an acceptable means of doing so. Several factors such as acidity, roughness etc. are measured for a batch of newly washed clothing and an index is formed by weighing and aggregating the results. The table below has more information on the tests.

Prepare the analysis of variance table for this data. Using a 5% significance level (the critical value F for [5,54] degrees of freedom is 2.39 from the tables) test whether there is a differences in the levels of irritation caused by the six leading brands of powder. Prepare an ANOVA table. (25 Marks)
