Pick two Texans from the same political position who have greatly impacted Texas government. Compare and contrast their achievements with three similar policy issues. Policy issues can be items such as education, state evacuation/security, gun control, abortion, roads, licensing, death-penalty, etc. Full credit requires elaboration on the issue backed with cited evidence (Texas based data preferred). Find academic articles on those policies and cite with evidence whether or not they were effective. Three sources are required and must be from academic, news sources, books, Texas congressional speeches or journals, other speeches, or scientific articles. Blogs are not permitted. Paper must have minimum one non-newspaper source. Paper must be at least three full pages in length and double-spaced.
