This dissertation will be focusing on the impact social media has had on the British High street. I will be looking specifically at London high street stores and social media platforms, such as Instagram, pinterest, shopify etc. I will look at how social media has influenced the way consumers shop, fashion trends online, fast fashion websites and how they differ to the high street stores. The target market I will be focusing on is 18-24 year old women. This target market shops less in high street stores. A lot of stores are closing and online sales have risen.
The title is very broad and I need to narrow down the topic, please can you advise what to research and what topics to cover. I can help with the data collection research and look at hight street stores in London I can take photos in store of the styles, trends, the way garments are displayed, different categories of clothes, price of garments and fabrics used. I can collect data from older 24year olds to 50 year olds giving out questionnaires on how they shop and if its online etc.
