This is worth 25% of the module marks
You MUST attend two of the 3 hour workshops, one of which should be subject specific. (You may attend as many of these sessions as you like)
You will then write up 2 pages (12pt 1.5 spacing) for each workshop that address the challenges surrounding the topic area. These may include one or two of the following problems:
Ethical
Technical
Managerial
Clinical
Financial
Scientific
Logistical
We would not expect you to discuss more than 2 or 3 of these.
We then also require you to produce a 2 page document in which you should predict (with evidence) the nature of a diagnostic laboratory in 2025. This may be discipline specific, country specific or general. Clearly we would expect you to include material that has been taught BUT we expect you to read around the topic area to get a broad based view.
The document should be 12 pt Arial with 1.5 spacing. References can be added as a separate page. There will be penalties for over-running the recommended page length.
